Check Engine Light

My check engine light came on in my 1998 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder last weekend. I thought it was maybe the gas cap so I tightened it and I drove it and the light still didn't go out. I unhooked the battery and the light stayed off for an hour today while I was driving and it came on again. I took the car to Autozone and it had a code of P0441 which stands for EVAP (Evaporative Emission System) small leak/no flow condition. It says the possible causes are:

1. Defective or loose fuel cap.
2. EVAP canister or hose cracked-not connected.
3. Purge or vent solenoid defective.
4. Vacuum leak at engine.

I replaced the fuel cap because it was the easiet, but the light is still on. Do I need to disconnect the battery again or reset the check engine light or is it something else ?

i would . by you disconnecting the battery i will allow the ecu to reset. the same happen to me when i canged from the stock filter to a short ram and i was bugging out . the i just disconnect the battey and allow it to chill for a couple of minutes then it was fine .i know it was a little off topic but hope it helped
