Ive been trying to replace the bulb on the little plastic connector that lights up the ring around the cigarette lighter, but its soldered to the connector pins...im sure i can rig something up, but is there any easier way? or a place where i can buy this part other than the dealer for $20?
I'm not sure how much it varries between the '92-'93's and the '94-'96's but IIRC, I took a 194 LED and literally removed the entire tail of it, and soldered the contacts in.
I know this may not be the easiest of things to do, but it works.
i just ended up getting it at the dealer...funny thing is, i went to a different dealer and the price was only $16. not $20 like the other place told me...but instead of just the bulb or the adaptor, i had to get the whole clip...i should be picking it up today hopefully. Ill post back about the part # and let you guys know if it was the right part.

yeah man, im really digging that white light, how did you do that?
I did a complete write-up on the whole thing when I was doing my dash. I'll try and find it and post it up again, I hope it didn't get lost in the forum changes... hang on.

That would be awesome man, how hard it is all to do?
ill try to head out to one tomorrow and do that...anyways, do you have a write up for everything in your dash, or just select parts? I want to do everything like yours except blue and white
gauge cluster is pretty straight-forward, once you remove the cluster, you can see all the bulb holders behind it, you just unscrew them with a flathead and you're good. there's a sticky in the top of the forums that details how to do it.
