Question VENOM, is it worth it?

Venom 400 Performance Control Module
http://www.autoanything.com/performa...roductInfoTabs

I've been bitten by the mod bug. I saw this last night and the reviews have indicated they either really love it or they say its just ok. The users that reviewed it were using on different type of cars. My question is had anybody here used on our camry's. I have already been told that the Venom Performance Injectors are going to fail on California smog tests, but supposedly they kick serious ass. The price is not so bad for hopeful gains.

I want your input, if this product sucks are the others any better, e.g. JET. And what type of gains are to be expected. Peace.

lol, I liked what this guy said:

Quote:
"I have headers, ignitor coils, wires, IAT chip, Gapped out plugs, Groundwire kit, cold air intake and eletric turbo and this the Mod that I noticed the biggest gain in. I have a 98 Cavalier RS
That guy is a sucker for all those scams :P

As for the controller, I can't say because i've never even heard of it.

i wouldnt trust it. i think its a placebo effect. "my car feels faster than it did before..."
i dont believe products like this without proven dyno results.

check out some of these reviews from a non-venom 400 sponsored site. i think you can figure out who the complete car retards are and who are the people that know a little about cars...

This is the reason why I'm asking you guys the "Camry Gurus", for input. Now, I do know that Jet has similar product, but you need to ship in your computer to be modified. Venom replaces your unit. It's like adding a JET Chip into your system, but our systems does not allow a chip update, so they need to hardwire their modification. The Venom module allows you to disable the chip with a builtin switch for say smog certification testing, the Jet does not have this ability. Maybe this will work, for the price, I might become a guniea pig.

Just try it and let us know, because obviously no one here has tried using one...

And what engine do you have, just curious.

Man, don't put him down!

The real power comes from the sticker at the bottom of the box. I mean, we all know, that's 14 of the 15hp, right?!
