my 96 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder 5sfe engine has 114000 miles...and the last time timebelt changed was 53000...right now, the car has 114000 miles...do you think if i run another 4 K more before i chang a new timebelt? would that be a hazard?

you can wait. my timing belt had just over 100k miles on it when i got around to changing it.

the only hazard you are facing is if some some reason your timing belt breaks, the car will shut down. there wont be any permanent damage, just a broken timing belt. got to love non-interference motors!

does anyone has timebelt broke a little more miles after 60,000 on 96 Toyota Camry LE 5sfe engine? i scare if i go more 20k more after 60k interval....i end up pay more to get it fix...give me your thoughts

... seem to recall the recommended interval for TB change for 4 cyl. is 60k miles.
.... for 6 cyl. is 90k miles.
