3rd & 4th Generation (19921996 & 19972001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i have a 96 camry, crap gas mileage. and its too quiet.
i replaced the intake box with a filter, with a 3 inch opening, which is the same size as the stock intake hose, so all you need is an intake with a 3 inch opening and the connector that comes with it. and i removed the intake resonator.
i want to gut the catylitic converter if i cant find a test pipe or race pipe. does anyone make them?
ebay had none.
anyone gut their stock cat?
anyone got an old catylitic converter for sale? i have a 96 camry 4 cylinder.
i think i still have my old primary and secondary cats if you want to pay the shipping costs. though i think an aftermarket header and exhaust would sound better. (plus be street legal if you leave a cat on.)
