Will this work?

On my 95 xle v6, if I replace the air box with a high-flow air filter instead of dropping $100 on SRI system, will that give me a nice sound and is it safe?

like a cone filter? yeah you can do that ... wont give you the same sound as an SRI, but its better than stock

you have to make a hole somewhere for the sensor to go - maybe closer to the TB, or remove the resonator and plug that hole, leaving room for the sensor

honestly, i would just save up some money and get an SRI ... even if you get a cheapo $50 one, its still better than a ghetto rig
