differences between solara and camry v6 5spd trannys

I know there has to be a difference in the gearing of these trannies? Can some point me in the right direction?

the gen4 5-speed and solara are the same

the 3vz one is different in a number of ways

so how in hell is the solara so much faster than my camry is the motor different and so what do I need to make it have the same type of pickup as a solara

If they are both 1MZ 5-spds, then they have the same engine and trans.

The Solara actually weighs a bit more too, perhaps it's just that the Camry you have is in need of a tune-up and/or cleaning of the TB and internals.

there are plenty of factors as to why one car is faster than another since they're practically identical

No, if you order a replacement, it'll be the same part number.

ok well are the timing and fuel graphs different in either cars and is it possible to swap ecus and gain a more aggressive tune for more power in different parts of the power curve?

I've had a 2001 Solara SE V6 5-speed with all the same mods as my 1999 Camry LE V6 5-speed including everything TRD offered, same psi, same rims, etc and the Camry, though not as good looking as the Solara feels much quicker.
