Has anyone used a HID plug and play kit on their camry?
I want to see the beam pattern and if the glare is really bad... I have a set of projectors but won't bother with fitting them if i can just get a p&p kit....
Yea i figure because the stock camry bowl is smooth and not "jagged" it cant be too bad. Could you take some pics PLEASE!! Preferebly stock but depo is ok too.
i wanna see which is better for HID the depo clear or the OEM headlamp....i have no complains with the OEM it look good.when i say look good i mean the light spread in the road i can see way better at night.
ive got a 9006 plug n play in the depot housings. the glare and spread is pretty bad and i wouldnt recomend it. but i bought this thing called a casper sheild to go over each bulb that creates a cutoff point like u get with a factory system. i did it cuz i perfer the look of the camry without projectors.
bigbird, where did you get the little caps from? and how much does it improve glare and all that junk? let's see some pics!

I just put my HIDs on the car last week, took 10 minutes and i got 10k bulbs. I love the system, also got clear corners and "High Intensity" clear corner bulbs. Will take pics later (already getting ready for bed)

A person posted this over on one of the other Toy/Lex boards earlier today. I'm VERY intrigued by the reported success and the reasonable price for a lower temperature:

Real HID kit! $97 shipped. Ppl seem to have great results with VVME on audi forums. check it out
I'm also trying to learn as much as I can about HIDs as I would like to buy and install some in the future. I've been studying over at HIDPlanet.
I've learned thus far, that folks aren't as pleased with light kits at higher temps. A lot of folks who've purchased the higher temps praise them, but you always tend to justify your own purchases. Some of the complaints with kits above 6k are glare, diffusion and poor cutoff.
I'm really curious about the kit cited above though. Has anyone on here bought this one yet?
