All shined up

I installed clear corners and just got through washing, claying, and polishing my baby. 95 v6.
I plan on lowering it as soon as I have the money , probably 1" - 1.25".

She still cleans up pretty well

i used the turtlewax rubbing compound, two coats. it worked but the car does not shine as much as yours. tell me how did you use the claybar?what brand to buy? what steps did you take? and which polish did you use? thanks a lot man. thats amazing. if your instructions are good and detailed with pics, they might make it a sticky aka, advice for everyone to see. thanks again.

i believe the clay bar is a meguiar's kit. The process I used was first took it to a manual car wash and used their pressure washer to give it a basic cleaning. This is also a easy way to get bugs off. I then came home and washed again, this time by hand with the good ol' washing mit and car shampoo. Then I clayed it. The way I used the clay bar was just wiping an area with soapy water and then scrubbing it with the clay. Just make sure to not pick up any grit on the clay or else you could scratch the finish, and make sure there is plenty of soapy water on the area you are scrubbing with clay. You can feel the clay taking out contaminants, and you'll know you're done with an area once it feels smooth when you run the clay over it. Next I dried the car using a squeegie(can't spell) followed up by a wipe down from an old fashioned cloth diaper (my dad told me about these, and work great. They're just as soft to a baby's bottom as they are to your car ). After I completed the entire car with the clay, I used Nu-Finish car polish. I applied with an orbital buffer and let it dry. Don't worry about letting it dry to long, as long as it has enough time to dry and is not wet. To wipe off the dried polish, I used some old fashioned cloth diapers. These can be found at wal-mart. These are very soft on the paint and are large enough to wipe off the polish quickly. Then cleaned the windows with windex and voila, shiny clean car. Oh, and the reason I haven't waxed it is because the Nu-finish also acts as a protectant and it's recommended to apply it again after 30 days. I'll probably wax it then to protect even more.
