help! master window controls not working. thanks

HELP. i messed with the kill switch or bypass switch on my alarm, i replaced it. anyway. my alarm stopped beeping and it doesnt make noise anymore at all, but still closes and uncloses the doors. the controls on the driver's door no longer work, the door lock and unlock button works, but the 4 window buttons dont work. the windows do however go up and down when using the windows controls on each door. thanks. whats wrong with my car? think its a relay? or just replace the whole master controls? THANKS.

The door lock circuit is separate from the window circuit. The windows receive power from the drivers console and a separate power wire to each window. In this manor they can be operated independently of the drivers console. If the windows work with each door switch, check the drivers console.

it was the drivers console aka the master controls. its messed up.

here is how to troubleshoot it. i checked the wires in the black plastic loom between the door and the fender part of the car by the a pillar. there are wires that are joined and black taped but they seem fine. and i could not see a flasher behind the ashtray, maybe there is one, but i'd have to take off the plastic around the center console, so i disconnected the master window controls from the drivers side door and what do you know, the alarm was working fine again. so the controls are defective, the unit. i'll pick one up somewhere. do you think that i caused it to stop working yesterday when i changed the alarm bypass switch by the kickpanel? i also pushed the controls down a little, by hand with force, cuz it was sticking up a bit. thanks.
