Hi Fellows.
Does any one here using Toyota super long life coolant(pink colour) on a vehicle which came out of the factory with red coolant?
Can pink coolant compatible with red coolant?

I think Toyota changed the color of the coolant. Read the article below about mixing coolants. There are many long life coolants out today, get one that is borate and silicate free.

pink is different from red, and it is never good to mix coolants

toyota will say that pink mixes with red [if they mess up, that way they dont have to flush your system] ... but as always, dont mix

flush the system with distilled water and then add the pink - it should work fine on any car, as long as its in there without any other colors ... they say that the Pink is universal

Pink is an improved coolant that has been premixed with around 50/50 with water. Long life coolant would last 3-5 years. But, don't fail to check up on the coolant condition, even long life will go bad over time.
