4th Generation Brake Cleaner

Hi,
I hear a very mild squeak from the Brake. I got it checked and the service center said the pads and everything else was fine. I presume the disc or pad has dust and that might be the reasopn for the noise. Also, I see the calipers are looking pretty dirty. Is it safe to buy a Brake cleaner and use it from outside the rims? Since I have all wjeel alloy, I can spray through the holes. I don't wnt to take the wheels apart. Any suggestions about what brand of product to use.
Thanks

Fix Squealing Brakes

If it squeaks once in a while leave it alone til it gets worse. You cant fix it from outside. Brake squeak is caused, believe it or not, from the pads vibrating in the calipers when you put the brakes.
The way to fix it is to disasemble the brakes - and since the pads are good you dont have to change them. tHEN clean them with brake cleaner. Use brake grease or high temp antisieze (grease used must be for brakes since they get very hot). Use just a little on the parts in the caliper where they slide (the stamped metal pieces).
then use some of the blue goo (called brake anti squeal compound) on the backs of the pads and allow to dry completely before using the brakes.
