4th Generation Blue Needles /w Reverse Glows

Hey guys just wanted to show you the outcome of using blue 194 bulbs to replace the stock ones in the gauges. It is kinda dark so I'm thinking of trying the tinfoil method to increase the light but I think it matches pretty nicely with my deck and the blue scheme im going for.

Now remember my post saying my speedometer was broken? Well guess what, I am an idiot I was only moving my car back and forth on my driveway which means no gas just reg rolling speed and for some reason I dont remember if it did it before or not but my speedometer doesnt move till I actually start giving it gas and get like between 5 and 10 mph. So one day I got my gps working and was gonna use that to see my speed and to my amazement my speedometer works lol. w/e though saved me a lot of headache trying to change odometers but now I am going to have another speedometer thats coming in soon (if you need it give me a pm).

But anyway here are a couple of pics sorry for being blurry but my camera doesnt like focusing without flash. Next up will be removing the thing blocking the clock to try to get it blue, some cathodes under the footwells, and then we will see about the climate control lights.

There is a diy on here called like diy needle with indiglo or something like that. Basically all you do is take out the old bulbs in the back of the cluster and replace them with some 194 bulbs or leds of your choice color

I dont really know how the bulb patterns are like on either of those but I assume you could use the painting method. The DIY was made for gen 4 but I don't really see any reason why it couldnt be universally used, http://toyotanation.com/forum/t101644.html
