Upgrading a Gen 4

I recently got my mom's 97' camry (she got my sister's camry now). What should i do if i want to make it a little faster? It's a White 97' camry with gold trim and matching gold rims.

a bit faster do a custom exhaust and perhaps a cai. other than that get some struts, springs, rsb, and then just like tint and other small things to make it look good. You arent going to go fast unless you have a ton of money to devote to the camry and it is at least a v6 and manual or going to be manual swapped. Welcome to the forums and the world of no aftermarket support

this all depends on the engine uve got and how much power ur lookin for, V6 or I4? v6, save all ur pennies for a supercharger or get crazy and go fabed turbo. 4cyl, not much hope, but there is an indepth write up on the 5sfe turbo(not worth it imo), and u might get lucky and find a RIPP supercharger around the forums or ebay. other then that ull only be adding slight amounts of power for lots of money.
