97 Camry Rear Speaker adaptor?

I know this may not be a right area, but I really like to ask anyone on this thread about rear speaker "adaptor". My right rear OEM speaker is shot, so I'm thinking about replacing it with pair of aftermarket speakers but from what I've red so far, sounds like I need a adaptor(from 3 holes to 4 holes) to install 6x9 speakers. Does anyone used a one from e-bay? (6x9 rear speaker adaptor plates) Does any aftermarket 6x9 speaker fit with this adaptor? How about one from a Clutchfield(speaker blacket, Item #2645300307) that I can install 5 1/4" or 6 1/2" round speaker? This blacket looks like a thick card board to me.
I'm just looking for replacement speaker, not a Hi-end speakers. Any recommendation/comments will be appliciated.
Thanks.
