Cabin is ALWAYS hot. Heat seems to be finding a way into the car really quickly. The ground of the cabin seems to be unusually warm. Does everyone's exhaust heat conduct into the car so easily?
I had that problem this past week, the vents always blew hot air even when it was cool outside - I didn't realize that my vent was set to recirculate and not to fresh air (where it should have been). That lever above your AC button, make sure it's set to fresh air which is the right-hand position.
If it is set on recirculate and it's hot in the car, you'll just be moving hot air around.
my moms car (2004 altima) and my 95 Camry, we will leave our car in the sun at the same time, right next to each other, and her car isnt that bad when you get in. In my car, you feel the heat rolling out of the door and its awful until the A/C or windows go down...maybe the colors? Her car is a burgendy, and mine is green...will tinting the windows help? Do you all have this crazy temp in the car?
Toyota recommends that you set the air draw to recirculate and turn the fan speed on it's maximum setting if you want quick cooling. After that, then you can resort back to fresh.
and i have like 35% tint and it helps, but only a little ... and i have Red Mica Metallic paint -.-
ya know, my car actually gets hotter inside now after the tint, i went from factory(95 or 90%, cant remember which) to 20%. maby cuz its so dark but its definatly hotter now.
