transmission flush

In the past, I had my transmission flush for every 60k miles at the Toyota Dealer...and now it's time to due another transmission flush...

I want adivice what should I do and not do.....and I heard everytime you flush the transmission, you have to remove the gasket and clean the filter (transmission) inside the transmission's pan. Any advice on flush the transmission fluid...

Another question....when I refill the transmission fluid, do I need to crack the engine and wait 10 mins before I check the level fluid...may anyone has success refill transmission fluid after flush transmission... Suggestion I should do and should not do when flush the transmision out....how critical do I need to clean out filter inside the transmission when i flush fluid out...or clean out filter (transmission) inside the pan is routine practice for transmission flush....suggestion...

thanks...

a couple of questions...

are you taking the car somewhere to flush it? or are you going to attempt it the ghetto way at home?

if you want to do the "flush" at home, then it's probably a good idea to drop the pan.
if you're going to do a real pressurized flush at a shop, then there's usually no need

if you're just doing a drain and fill, there's also no need unless you notice there is something wrong with your tranny

if it makes you feel better to do it, then just do it
