2000 Camry stereo install

The cd player in my 2000 camry just died so I'm going to try and put a new one in myself. I have the wiring harness, and the faceplate and cd player. I have a Haynes Repair Manual that says for removal of the old one, you just need to pop out the center console with a screwdriver. Has anyone here tried this before and is it really as simple as popping it out, or are there any tips that could be helpful for this??

I don't use a screwdriver. I remove the ashtray and pull gently at the bottom black plastic. The first pull usually pops out the faceplate enough to give me enough room to gently pull the left and right sides. After the faceplate is completely off you need to remove two 10mm bolts and slide the radio out enough to disconnect the wire harness and the antenna lead.

The stereo is easy to remove. I can probably take it out in 5 minutes (I'm serious).
