I suppose that depends... what do you want out of your engine? Power? Gas mileage? The obvious answer would be the V6, because it's faster... and almost everyone wants the most performance they can get out of their car. But then there are some who could care less, as long as it gets good gas mileage. If that's you, the I-4 is the engine of choice.

sorry the 2.2L sucks and anyone who has it will tell you that. get the 3.0 v6 because you can actually then pull out into traffic without your motor bogging the fuck down.

Agreed. It's even worse having to drive it with the A/C on!

With gas around $3.00 gal. I really like my 2.2L. And I have no problem maintaining 85 mph on the turnpike when I go to Florida every month. The Camey was NOT built to be a street racer. My neighbor has a 6cyl and has had to spend alot of $ to maintain his engine.

No question, definitely the V6 if you can afford it. Given the performance gain over the 4 cylinder, while gas consumption is only marginally higher.

the a/c doesnt affect the performance at all in the 5S-FE

so take your butt-dyno elsewhere ...

its like a 2hp drop, and you cant even tell the difference ... i can still go up a 45-degree hill at 65 mph with A/C on full blast
