Depends on what weld tip was used, but a 1/4" or 6mm *should* be a good starting point. If you have it centered up on the spot I wouldn't expect you'd have to go much larger than that, and probably no larger than a 5/16" or 8mm. Should be enough to get the bulk of the nugget out. Also depends on how many layers of body panels were welded. More panels = higher current + higher weld gun pressure, which usually results in a larger weld nugget.
