I've looked around the 'net and couldn't find anywhere to buy the rubber caps for the bleeder screws. I replaced my rotors and pads yesterday and bled the brakes and noticed the caps are all worn out, some even cut.
SO do you guys know a site or should I just consult the a toyota dealership around here?
BTW. Thanks alot for the faq and stickies, I've learned alot from them.
oh yea if anything have any questions on bleeding the brakes or anything, ask away....I've became pretty proficient at it.
just snip of a itty bitty piece of hose. heat up one end and melt-seal it.should work until you do it the right way...
bleeding expert ,eh?can one person do it without the mity vac?cause its a one time job and I dont wanna blow 35 bucks....
Yep, what touringcamry said. I'm going to try one of those kit next time when I bleed brakes (thats if I don't try those speed bleeder screws). I actually thought they were some kind of gimmick at first but did some research (after I did the 2 man way) and found out they're reliable and make it much easier. Just remember to not overfill the bottle tho.
About the caps, I've checked 2 autozones, 2 advance auto parts, 1 carquest, and 1 o'reilly. Lol didn't bother to check napa, will be making a trip to them some time this weekend, HOPEFULLY they're have it (as listed on their website).
Hey audionut71, where are you located in STL? I'm in the south side city. (PM me if u don't want it public for some reason.....)

For the caps, go to www.dormanproducts.com. Scroll downt he left side until you see keyword search. Enter, "bleeder caps." You'll see they make 3 sizes. Get the part numbers and check with your auto parts store.
They also make speed bleeders. The install in place of your old bleeders and allow you to do a "one man" bleed operation. Then they screw back in place and stay in the car.
