3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I went to the local scrap yard to get odds and ends for my camry. There was only 3 gen 3 camrys in the entire yard of over 5 000 cars. They were all 92 models stripped clean, No coupes...some photos below.
Sorry about the quality, had to use my camera phone.
Those things are 'bout ready for the crusher haha. Sucks for you though, mine didn't have any either last time I went. That steering wheel on the first one is NASTY
the steering wheel in the first pic was probably burned by some sort of fire or flame.
and damn, that's one clean air filter

^ That's the top of the filter. All the crud should be on the other side unless your old filter weighs as much as a damn phone book because it has never been changed.
Wow, only three gen 3's. I want to my junkyard last week and they had 8 camrys and 1 camry coupe. I was surprised to see a coupe there knowing how rare they are.
Is that standard auto wreckers? Last time i went they has 2... There was a top camry with 2 doors missing they're on my car now And they arent that stripped compared to when i went. Did you pick anyhting up?
Yes thats the place. I went looking for holders for the dash bulbs...well not really. I just wanted to go to the junk yard and look around. I have to go back and get the rubber hose for the air intake. I didnt bring my ratchet set so i coulnt take it off.
