Bushing questions

I was on SuperPro's site and had some questions on their bushings. http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro_catalogue.html

Can anyone tell me what the difference in the different sized dogbone bushings is? I have a 99 camry le v6 if that makes any difference. Oh, and are there rear trailing arm bushings the same thing as energy's rear control arm bushings or are those two totally different things? And finally, what are the differences with the different front control arm rear bushings they offer? Like how do they affect alignment settings and would it be best to just stay with the regular ones?

hmmm....I'm not sure since I've never personlly tried the superpro bushings, but the differences have to do with the fact that the v6 bushings would be bigger than the 4banger ones.

do a search in the vendor forum for superpro & whiteline

there was a groupbuy by the vendor raptor racing a while back and there were the exact same questions asked when it came to the bushings

the thread doesn't show on the actual forum anymore since it was so long ago, but you'll be able to find it with the search function

As far as the dogbone mount, just go to your car and measure the larger diameter of the two ends, it will either be 50mm or 65mm. that size is the only differance between the two mounts. You probably have the 65mm. I personally have that mount (in 50mm) on my '95 4 banger and the engine doesn't move at all! The only problem is that the bushings have to be pressed in the old mount (pain in the ass).

Just looks like they have 2 different sizes, similar to the sway bars they came in 4 different sizes.

The different sets are to alter the caster of your front wheels, I'm not sure why you would want to do this, but I think it relates to changing the suspension (esp. the height) of your vehicle.

Nolathane had this to say about their kits:
Quote:
Standard replacement kits provide better steering response, feel and improved handling.
LHS offset RHS std kits, provide better steering response and feel + correct slight pull to the LHS as well as improved tyre life.
Both LHS/RHS offset kits, provide better steering response and feel + correct heavy pull to the LHS.
BTW, I got them cos they wre the cheaper of 2 option in polyurethane bushes. Nolathane is the other aussie option.

Well I've gotten most things figured out but still would like to know if their rear trailing arm bushings are idential to energy's rear control arm bushings or if this is something different
