3rd Generation hi all, first time post

hi, new to this site, so im hoping to obtain some useful knowledge. just purchased a 93 4 door i-4, and am wondering what all other toyota parts are interchangeable. primarily interior and exterior. i previously had a 94 tercel, and was able to do a paseo interior swap (seats door panels ), and thus knowing how clever toyota is, what can be interchanged with the 3rd gen camry. thanks to all.

as long as ur working with the 4 door, almost anything. but the headlights, bumper and grille is different in 95 and 96, to swap in thoes pieces from thoes 2 years(gen3.5) ull have to swap all of them or modify the bumper slightly.

welcome to TN

You could swap interior bits with the Lexus ES300 of that vintage (1992-1996), I think... but truthfully I prefer the Camry's dash setup and the way it tilts in toward the driver like an '80s 3-Series.

yes, im hitting all of the local salvage yards looking for parts. the sunroof will need some attention soon, the top of the dash is cracked pretty badly, and whats up with the interior door handles? how do those trim pieces go back in, and why are all of the ones im seeing at the salvage yards, and on my own, cracked and loose, and the handle themselves have a piece of plastic missing showing the spring?

U'd be lucky to find decent door handles, exterior or interior in a Junk Yard! But there's plently for sale on ebay! Their not that expensive!

The dash. I have a Coverking cover on mine...so it doesn't get any worse than it is! Could save ya alot of work, if u don't mind carpet on ur dash!!

I'll make ya a good deal on this Tan one! I went with Black!

Dude, that's a 96 so you have a front passenger airbag under there... I'd hate to be a passenger in a fender bender, you'd have nasty carpet burn on your face!!!

It's the ECT button for the tranny to shift at higher RPM's. Has Normal and Power mode. I think it may only be on the V6 models though?
