4th Generation Thinking of building motor for nitrous

If I was to rebuild my motor for nitrous what kind of fuel system would I need? I mean could I just use my MAF sensor with a Super AFC II to tune the fuel curve. I would also need what type of fuel pump and injectors? Also I plan on cryoing the block and crank and having the rods shotpeened and cryoed. When I get pistons I would have JE custom make a set for the V6 just make sure they are forged. My question is if I run a 75 shot will I be likely to melt the pistons? I plan on running a Direct port Wet Nitrous kit with WOT switch.

i cant imagine that would happen with only a 75 shot. some here have run 100+ shots and ther were fine.

you dont need to build a motor for nitrous - our stock internals are strong enough

the problems with nitrous are that people use dry kits on cars that require a wet system and they blow the engine

no I just want to start with a fresh motor instead of one with 51k. I will buy another motor to build and put a wet kit on my 51k motor

also any good suggestions on a good wet nitrous kit to use? Nitrous Express, NOS, etc.

it should handle a 75 shot fine on the stock system as long as you provide the proper fueling. Get a Boost-a-pump, and the direct port should have extra fuel spraying built in to the nozzles

you think 51k is old? ... thats a baby in the Toyota world - you can strap a 75 shot on there no problem

gimme ur damn motor if u dont want it ... i rather have a 51k motor than a 134k motor!

btw, go with ZEX or Nitrous Express -- make sure its a kit that sprays when at WOT only, or whatever the hell theyre called ... youll know when you see it

instead of a boostapump couldn't I just get a inline fuel pump rated at 190lph to increase fuel flowing efficency
