ok so im going to be the proud owner of YESCA's headlights. as a little insight into my "plans", im doing away with the front lip and doin a full kit color matched and since i got rid of the rear black SE pannel, theres gonna be alot of red. so the lights will add back the black/red balance somewhat.
to further that theme i need to either balck out or smoke the bumper lights. i know how to smoke them but my big concerns there are visibility. has anyone smoked theirs or have any advice and how would yall suggest i attempt to black out the housing if smoked isnt the best rout?
im also tryin to think of other things to balance the balck. any ideas are great(other then the grille, i got that covered).
First, is it legal to do that in MD?...and are u doin the fogs too?, or are they history, with the full body kit?....BTW u better find a big box, cause that lip will sell in a minute!!

as long as the turn signals are still visible then yeah. MD cares more about red or blue lights then smoked. yea im gonna try to keep the fogs as long as they will still fit. prolly smoke thoes too. its the razzi front lip you can see it here.
i would kill for that front lip if i werent selling the coupe
id do a straight up trade for the headlights lol
but dont worry you will be very happy wtih these and i cleaned them up all nice for ya
i have smoked lights on my gen 5...one of the best things ive done to the car, visibility is absolutely fine as long as you get the good smoke paint. I have mine really dark and you can see the lights just fine, day and night. DO IT!!! lol I would upload a pic, but dont have an image host to do it
