K&N Air Intake

I'm thinking of buying a K&N intake system for my 96 I-4. I'm wondering if its worth it, and if it will cause any problems. Also, how hard are they to install? Pics would be great too.

Thanks in advance.

having this wont make a significant difference in performance or anything. It just a item to thank your car i guess by giving it more cleaner air.

I looked up HP gain on the K&N site for your car. No HP gain listed and no intake tube kit listed as available. What are you trying to accomplish? As for cleaner air (over stock paper)with K&N I've not seen it as there is a price to pay for a freer (more open) flowing filter. You'll get more noise though.

K&N doesnt make an intake system for the 5S-FE engine ...

but they do have a panel filter ... which will increase air flow a little bit but nothing significant

Thanks for the responses. I got what I was looking for: its pointless, since there's no intake available for the 5SFE's. I appreciate the help.
