3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I don't know if there's anything particular to the depo lights, but if they're designed for a gen 3 (not 3.5), to my knowledge you need to swap to a gen3 grille and use the parking lights / head lights. All 3 are designed slightly differently for gen3's/3.5's as far as I know.
If there's a simple mod you can do to the grille or headlights to make it fit, I'm unaware of what it is.
I got the grill and stuff down, everything fit fine, but the brackets on the grill side do not line up with holes so i am wondering how to bolt them down

pics would definatly help. if i recal, the gen 3 headlights bolt through part of the grille but the gen 3.5 dont. if im right, ur gonna have to drill and tap it urself.
well not a whole lot of people do the depos on the gen 3.5, but yeah that is kinda weird. with it unbolted are the light sturdy at all? why not just drill through thet bracket and then use a bolt and nut and work it that way.
no it needs at least one of those 2 to be sturdy and to align properly, which is another reason i wanted the damn things to line up, now i have to eyeball it
