Difference between camry and solara front control arms?

So wondering what the difference is if any between gen 4 camry and gen 1 solara front control arms? Energy's site shows they use the same bushings but notes that camry uses iron arms and solara uses steel arms. If this true and if so are the solara arms lighter? I went onto a parts site and I'm showing a difference between the camry and solara so I'm assuming so but just wondering if the solara arms are indeed lighter and if theyd bold right up (I'm assuming they would). If so that's some effective reduction of unsprung weight right there

really? I never knew that either....and I would presume that would be the reason...

you should really ask your local toyota dealer for clarification (presuming that they have a knowledgeable parts department and not idiots like everywhere else)

unless somebody here has tried it....? and if not...why don't you try it and then come back and let us know? you know..take one for the team and all that

what's the price difference if any?

I think the price brand new is 250 or so for a camry arm and maybe a hundred less for a solara. If I could, Id like to find a junkyard around here that might have both parts readily available and compare the two. So far Ive had no luck finding any validity on this from other people. I tried pming Reggin on Solaraguy. He must be busy. Actually I may see if the parts guy I talk to regularly around here might be able to call the parts warehouse nearby in Hebron and see if he can find out any info.
