my car drops to about 750-800 rpms at when im stopped, so i think that part is normal. if the car is shaking, i would take a look at the engine mounts. next time you fire up the car, leave the hood open so you can see the motor as you start the car. it should remain pretty much still when it starts. if it really moves, then yea, its definitely a motor mount. if the engine shifts position when you put the car into gear, then it could be the transmission mount.

Shakes with A/C or without? Engine speed drops with A/C or without? If only with A/C check your idle up switch. Otherwise check usual suspects, wires, plugs, compression. Could just be engine mount as ghettosled said.

It's located on the passenger side of intake manifold. It is an electrically operated vacuum valve with a two pin electrical connector and a two hose vacuum valve.

Wife has the car today. Maybe later. It should be the only vacuum valve in that postion, right on top. Don't forget PS side is in U.S. I think you guys are left hand drive down there. Anyway, on the right as you face forward from the drivers seat. 94 should be the same as my 95. Don't you guys have manuals in AU? You could try the factory download manual under fuel/emissions
