Battery reccomendations

Just wondering what you guys might reccomend in terms of a new battery.

Prior to the accident, my battery was horrible and it finally died after the collision so now it needs a replacement.

How many amps are you guys running in your batteries? I looked online and saw some that range from 600 to 950 amps for start-up.

how much is really neccesary? I don't have any plans on installing a major audio system but don't want a horribly weak battery either.

What do you guys think?

Do you have a Costco membership or know someone that does? Their selection is somewhat limited, but they are about $50 with 100 month warranty. It might be worth a look. I think 3 year free replacement and the remainder is pro-rated.

I am just using motormaster, but I have used for 5 years now, and it doesn't give me any troubles. The only problem is when I use my power windows, my headlights will go dim.
