3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hey everyone, well today my 'Y' from from Camry emblem fell off on the back of my bumber. It happened while i was driving so i have no idea where it is. I really wanted to replace it. Anywhere i can buy a replacement other than the junkyard? What would you say the possibility of the junkyard having it (i've never been to one). My camry is a black 95' DX.
If you buy the whole package, I would re-arrange the letters so it says "My Car" instead of "Camry". Street cred will be off the chain.

Of the seven you-pull-it yards I've been to in the past month, almost all of the 3rd gen Camry's were missing emblems. Everything was taken off the trunk, even the LE/XLE tags.
Then again, at a proper junkyard where there isn't public access to the cars, the story is likely different.

the freakin dealer wants like 175 bucks to replace all the emblems. He said it comes in a package and i can't just get 1 letter. I went to a junkyard today and couldn't find any camry's that had letters. Its just annoying cause its one letter! It would make the car look so much nicer, i've checked everywhere online including ebay and still am coming up empty handed. I thought about just swiping someones Y off the back their camry but thought if someone did that to me i'd be so pissed. Any other thoughts?
