3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Everything that I've read says that the JDM scepter was only available in the coupe and station wagons during the mid-90's. Looking at Yahoo Auctions in Japan tonight, I found this:
It had 1995 in the auction title.
While I can't really read anything in Japanese (the characters intrigue me ) I couldn't really find much more in the auctions.

Here's Google's translation of the item's description:
"It is 1995 August edition. Type: VCV10 SXV10. It is dispatch possible with the mail flight. * After the bidding successfully directly, seeing the end mail from [yahu], necessary item communication. * It is dispatch possible with the cheap mail flight. Because there are times when there is a difficulty in part once, the junk item please think distantly. After dispatch no claim, you make the no return. * Packing the case of dispatch basically becomes sufficient simple packing which is inserted in vinyl. Packing and other packing where content is not visible case of desire, the effect please order. (At separate cost it grants)"
And the auction's title:
"Pamphlet car catalog SCEPTER [seputa] 1995 edition SEDAN★4"
I told everyone before that it came in all models. Mr. Know-It-All ***got Allen said it was a coupe Gen 3 only. Why do you think I have a Gen 3.5 Scepter panel??

Well, now we have definitive proof. We can just show them the pic and spend the rest of our time trying to find Scepter stuff, lol
