You can add my Camry to the list of
many Camry's that have been in accidents lately.
This morning I was driving to work as always and out of the corner of my eye I see a car heading right for the left side of my car. I immediately honked and slammed on my brakes to try and avoid him. It wasn't enough, he had gunned it cutting across 5 lanes of traffic trying to get from one side of the street to the other, crossing a very busy intersection. Needless to say we made contact. He hit the rear left side of my car, which spun me around 180 degrees and caused me to slid backwards for about 40-50 ft scrapping my wheels. My initial reaction was "oh shit my CF trunk"

I then drove the 40-50 feet in now on-coming traffic (thank god it was clear at the time.) Got out and accessed the damage. I'm rockin' some serious negative camber in my rear left wheel now

I thank god that the other driver was driving a car smaller then mine. He had a '92 Mazda shitbox and his front end was now messed up. Within' minutes I waved down a passing cop car. An accident police report was filed and an accident investigator deemed the other driver responsible for the accident and he recieved a citation for "Careless Driving." Since he was in the wrong his insurance will be taking care of everything. I will now need a rent-a-car in the mean time to get back and forth to which I
assume will also be on his insurance companies wallet. Right now i'm waiting for a call back from his insurance company with the details.
This was my first accident so this should be a
*insert sacasm* fun experience dealing with adjusters, insurance companies and that fact that my car will
never be the same in my eyes again.
Here's a few pics I snapped with my cell phone.
