i wonder about this as well....ive heard of putting the 3mz in a gen 3, but i wonder if the 2gr would fit in....that would be one hell of a swap

since it would involve things like custom driveshafts and mounts and so forth. So really not worth it.

Forget about the mounts and stuff, but would the new engine even fit? The Gen3 seems pretty short compared to the tall hoods of the Gen 6, or even the Gen 5.

talk to milt, he was in the process or completed putting the 3mz in. it wouldnt be worth it imo. plus the gen6 is DBW and hella geh. the engine with the most potential in the yota family that can swap in is the 3sgte or turboing the 3vz-fe.

I think the 1mz one fits with an adapter. An MR2 shop that does custom swaps says it can fit

Before you spend all of the money to put that motor in there just slap a turbo on whatever you already have. I went from a 188hp Camry to a 320hp Camry.
