I wouldn't be surprised. On my gen of Corollas, the 3-spd auto will have separate tranny/diff fluid whereas the they're shared in 4-spd auto.
Find your owners manual and take info from there as canon.

yup- even though there are different drain and fills for the differential and the tranny on the v6, the design of the transmission is that they actually share the same fluid anyway
in the 4banger though, the diff and the rest of the tranny actually are entirely separate units though, so the differential fluid must be changed

Curious, what about in an i4 gen 3 Manual car? How do u change it in there? Is it shared? (I have never owned a manual car before and DONT even know how to check it)
