4th Generation brake fluid for 99 camry w/ abs

Lookin to do brake work in the near future and wondered what brake fluid I should use. I want to use ATE Super Blue which I've used with two of my previous cars and is DOT 4 rated and has a great high temp boiling point but not sure if this is suitable for my camry which has abs. Never had a car with abs before so just want to make sure its compatible and if I need to do anything special when bleeding

Any DOT 3 brake fluid will work just fine. It should state this in your owner's manual. You do not have to do anything special when bleeding the brakes with an ABS system.

The only thing I might add is I've heard that after fluid flushing on ABS you should cycle the ABS brakes to exchange the fluid in the ABS unit. I use a dirt road to lock the brakes and actuate the ABS. Mike Gerber might be able to confirm this.

I have never heard of this and Toyota does not mention this in any of their manuals. After disassembly and reassembly of any of the hydraulic components of the ABS system, the manual simply refers you back to the pages for the normal bleeding procedure, so I would assume this is not necessary.
