Anyone taken off side mounts?

Well after reading a few topics from 9thgen corolla forum(I have a 9th gen corolla, GoGo Toyota's!). They seem to take their side mounts off to make their car look better. Now I was wondering if our Gen 4 camrys will look good without those side mounts too? The mounts i'm talking about is the ones right underneath your door handles and its one long piece from front tire to back tire and it sticks out.

Either way I'm just wondering.. maybe some have already did it...and it may or may not look good.

If you're talking about the side moldings, you can take them off by heating up with a hair dryer and gently pulling them off, but there will be holes in your doors.

i believe you're referring to the side molding. It's more difficult to remove the side molding off the camry for starters. and secondly, there's a dip in the body panel, so if you remove the molding, you have that big gap-- Not aesthetically pleasing, unless you go through all the trouble of some bodywork

its not hard to remove, just has holes and the door doesnt flow it needs to be filled

aww that sucks... never expected holes to be behind those molds.. and Yes I did meant the molding and not the mounts haha.. said it wrong
