4th Generation

Hi guys,
long time reader 1st time poster!!

I have the same question and I'd like to know for sure is it definetly no interference?I bought my car at 180km(im an aussie) and with no log books however a friend of mine has taken a look inside and said its def been replaced recently and should be good to go until 230km at least. but if its no interference and it breaks without causing damage its alright by me. So what do you guys reckon?its a 1998 csi camry v6( damn but i love the thing!some asshole smashed my window on monday night and stole my sunnies and a few other knick knacks like the headunit cover but not the headunit!grrr)

No it's not an interference motor. I had the timing belt break on my '94 1MZ Camry several months ago, all that happened was the engine quit and wouldnt start up, it didnt cause any problems once I got it replaced. But it was a pricey ~$500 repair job.

It won't damage anything, but it'll be a pain in the butt since you'll need a tow. It could also leave you stranded somewhere for a day or two.
