well i am starting to get my car where i want it and today at work i parked my car in the employee parking. Im there probably for an hour then one of the girls up front comes back and gets me and says that somone just crushed the side of my car. I almost lost it right there. And the worst part is that the dude just drove away. The guy was picking up his car from state inspection and the he just talked to the girl so she had all his paperwork and such. Turns out he is probably even too old to be driving bc when the cop went to his house he had already forgotten he hit me. Needless to say he crushed my car where the two doors meet on the passenger side and put some nice dents on the frame right behind that. I thought to myself that oh well his insurance will pick it up, which it will. I took my car over to the service bay where i work and a couple guys came up with an estimate of 4100 dollars. Meanwhile the blue book is only like 2000 in good condition. I dont know what to think or do? Anyone got any thoughts, i could use them. I just am at the point where i have too much into the car to just get rid of it and part it out for what it seems like a minor thing. I just dont know, any help would be appreciated.
Depending on how much you are into thiscar and how much insurance will give you ( and whether they total it or not) i would say get a new car. Get a V6 solara, you'll enjoy it even more

i love the car and just bought allens scepter panel and that sparco wheel and shit..it just sucks...i think if they do total it i can buy it back from the insurance company and get it fixed and maybe have some extra change left over..i dunno it all depends
yeah the v6 manual would be a dream...but i do have some money in the savings account..i was looking at an evo, but i acctually thought to myself...is this really fun to just buy a car and never have fun doing shit to it...i dunno just need to wait and see what happens
If ur looking for an Evo, I would actually wait for the new Ralliart. Its rumored going to be slotted right under the Evo with turbo, AWD and 230hp with some decent looks. Mitsu needs something to compete with the WRX anyways. I'll looking forward to that car.
PS: Mine is getting repaired, hopefully it'll be back in a week or 2
thats not bad...the bad part is that i leave for school sunday and i need a car and this wont be done sunday so i need to lik make a decision and strip this or find a new one or something...just never a dull moment..
