Canada Power Window help! please...

Hi everyone!

Newbie here… I have just purchased a 94 w/370K but I knew the guy who owned this and this car is all highway. Anyways, I bought her for $1000.00. Thought is was a good deal, the car is in great shape.

I do have a question though. The driver side window was not working, so I took the door apart to find the main wire harness was shorting against the window regulator. I found open and shorted wires. Re-spliced everything and checked. The driver side still would not function. I then took apart the driver side window module and found shorting everywhere. Cleaned it up, started to work if I kept the assembly apart. Still fighting with it working with the assembly together. I must has done something wrong when I still had power applied because now all the windows are not working. Conclusion is I blew the windows fuse during all this.

Where is the darn fuses for the windows? I searched this forum but did not find the info I needed. I’m going to go through the online repair manual after typing this.

Thanks for reading and any help with this!

If it's the same as the US cars it's fuse number 34. It's behind the coin box on the left side of the dash. It's a 30 AMP fuse. If you are looking at the fuse panel there, it's the far right column of 2 large fuses. It's the one on top.

The link here is for the US Gen3 Wiring Diagram. .... Scroll down until you get to something useful ... should be schematics for Power Window specifically at some point.

Thanks!

Thanks for the imediate responce. When I looked behinde the coin box fuse location previous. I never saw any 30a fuses. I did although see a 30a fuse behinde the heater duct, a little more to the right side of the fuse block. Looks like a real pita to get to also...grrr!

No manual came with the car.

Will check this link though!!!

Cheers!
