2000 Camry Problem

I have a 2000 camry v6 thats puzzling me.

The only way the car starts is with the accelatator down. But if you let go of the accelatator it shuts off.

Also check engine light is on and you can smell raw gas.

Any suggestions?

Yes, get the codes read. That's a good place to start. Autozone will do this for free. If you do not have Autozone in your area call around to auto parts stores that you do have and ask them if they provide this free service.

Smells like gas? With what your experiencing, it would be that the engine is running rich i believe

Getting the codes read (the CEL light is on as mention) will hopefully give you an idea on what is causing the issue.

DTC Codes: P1130 and P1135

Than shows pending P1130, P1133, and P1135.

Suggestions?

Hmm... the oxygen sensors apparently, BUT the car should not stall if oxygen sensors fail!
IAC valve maybe?
Or.... could it be possible the oxygen sensor installed is not matching the ECU of your car?

Well, the MAF should normally give you an error code if it works so wrong.

P1130 A/F Sensor Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1 Sensor 1) (Toyota)
P1133 A/F Sensor Circuit Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1) (Toyota)
P1135 A/F Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) (Toyota)

Where is the MAF sensor in here?

---
Ohh, got it! A/F means Air/Fuel ratio sensor that is = (almost) oxygen sensor, NOT the Mass Air Flow sensor.
