I was planning to change the yellow oem headlight bulbs with the white light sylvania silverstars for my 1999 Camry. Could you guys tells me which model of headlight bulb in the silverstar series to buy that would fit my car?
If you are seeing yellow...its more than likely due to the headlights themselves and not the bulbs.
If your headlights are yellowed, you can get some stuff from your local auto parts store for 'restoring' them...or you can follow the process on solarguy's site, which im going to do soon.
I've tried the Silvania Silverstars and they do have a a white/blue look, but they're not very bright. Plus they don't last very long. I just bought a couple sets of OSRAM Silverstars from here and I can see better now.

Does the 99 have a shared high/low beam bulb, or is it seperate like in the 2000 and up?

^^ wth? Osram Silverstars and Sylvania Silverstars are the same. LOL. the company that made them is called .. " Osram Sylvania " .. LOL.
I thought osram silverstars didnt have the same tint as sylvania silverstars. Btw if you dont think silverstars are the brightest halogen then I dont know what to tell you. As far as i know, after doing so much research on which headlight bulbs are worth to buy, silverstars were the brightest on the list. Silverstars are also known for not lasting long because how bright its burning. Dim bulbs are the ones with heavy blue tint.
