Strut Bar and Sway Bar are 2 different things ...

Strut Bar [aka: Strut Tower Brace] is the thing that goes under your hood and ties the top of the struts together ... Sway Bar [aka: Stabilizer Bar] goes under the car and ties the two sides together

lemme know which kind you want, and ill let you know which brands are the best quality and where u can purchase one

either way, ebay is not the correct place

Oh, so they're 2 different things... I had no idea, as you can probably tell by now.

I guess I was right in referring to a "strut bar".

So I want a strut bar.

Save up a little more and get the sway bar instead... It makes a HUGE difference.

haha, I was actually thinking of getting one of those too.

I actually build R/C cars and I know that sway bars make a HUGE difference.

Swaybar > Strut bar.

And if you're buying new, I think they'll be around the same price. Although, on ebay you can find STBs for 40 bucks...

Rear Sway bars and Strut Bars arent even similar items, you cant compare the two ...

ideally, you want both - since they both function differently

Ok, so back to my original question.

Where can I find a Sway Bar? I've tried googling it before, and all that comes up is "sway bar bushings", etc.

And for that matter, what does a strut bar do anyways?

a Strut Bar ties the tops of the two struts together, so basically if one moves, the other should move too

a Sway bar ties the lower half of two struts together ... same purpose, different function

sway bar > strut bar at reducing body roll and improving handling ... BUT a strut bar is $30 whereas a sway bar is $150+

you can get a TRD Swaybar from resident members here ... PM eyeball96 to ask where he got his .... you can get a Whiteline Sway Bar from Raptorracing on this website, but hurry cuz i think the price is going up soon
