3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I got most of mine locally as well, except for my RMM lip, which came straight from rod millen.
In the end, it costed me about 2K for all the parts since the kit is all pieced together and I got it all imported from the US when the Canadian dollar was worth A LOT less...

I read once that those rod millen bumpers are really good. Something about them being very aerodynamic and the drag being reduced to 0.29. If I ever find the article I'll post it here cos my info just now wasn't very clear.
I personally don't see how they make the car any more aerodynamic....BUT the gen3 lip IS functional and provides downforce on the front of the car at higher speeds
you can see the car is actually a good bit lower when you're cruising on the highway

i want to get a body kit but im also looking into make a custom one
Well if you guys get like a Mitsu. Evolution Front Bumper Body Kit. Cut it in half and cut your Camry Oem Front bumper in half. Then take a rivet gun and attach them together. I am pretty sure some one already did this and it look very good. For me I don't want any fiberglass kits that are low to the road and will eventually break in a huge pieces. (See to many civic with broken kits holded with zip ties!)
I made my front lip from scratch. I first made a lip out of plastic. Made it how I really wanted it. Take it off, cover it with seran wrap and get some carbon fiber cloth. Take the cloth and work it in to the lip. Make sure you have plenty enough of it so later on it does not crack. Push the cloth in the shap of the lip and make sure it hardens the way you want it. Then when every thing dries take it off the plastic lip and remove the seran wrap. Now you have a plastic and a carbon fiber lip:P
Before my Carbon Fiber Lip I had a different lip, whitch was also custom made but it was too low and was scraping the ground in every little bump. I had to remove it because it was driving me crazy!
My sides and rear is also custom made, but it can be easily made and the parts can be bought any where!
