4th Generation Rust :/

Crap, I was washing my car yesterday and noticed a spot of rust right on my hood. It's toward the front end. Probably chipped by a rock and i never really noticed it :/ it's pretty small, is there anything I can do to stop it from spreading?

you could probably sand, bondo, and touch-up yourself if youre willing to take a good 10 hours and really do a smooth job

I say F' it. I washed and waxed today, saw the spots and didn't even bother with'em. When it gets bad, I'll do something about it.

On the roof near the windshield most likely means the windshield was replaced at one point, and the metal underneath it was scratched/damaged during removal, and was not prepped properly in order to not rust... Usually the windshield has to be removed and the area fixed and then reinstall the glass.

Well idk much about the last owner, i can tell you pretty much, although i know the mechanic that work on this car before me said the owner properly maintanced it, the last owner didn;t take good care of the car or if he did it was once in a while; He was robbed of the original toyota radio...the broke the front passenger side window, broke the radio brezel, broke the radio brace on the lower socket; and broke the panel under the steering wheel, so that panel is never going to stay where its suppose to be it just hangs there. Probably they broke the windshield idk...i'll take pics of the so call rust in the morn' if i remember

There are teh pics...there are not big though
