Its prity easy, I did it a while back with no real mechanical knowledge, just get a good repair book or get one online. Issues I will highlight for your benefit that I encountered (nothing major), varies on which car you have exactly... but:

* Seperating fan assembly from radiator, bolts were corroded on badly, so have something on hand to spray and loosen them... also abit of brute force helps. I ended up soaring one of the bolts off and replacing it because it just wouldnt move.
* Have plenty of towels on hand. My 3VZ has a hydraulically operated fan which uses the powersteering fluid, so when you undo the bolt for it alittle fluid (tranny fluid is used so top it back up) will spill unless of course you have the other type of fan.
* Get yourself two reasonably sized bolts, compare it to the tranny cooler lines running through radiator... use them to plug the cooler lines up so you dont have to refill tranny. I did this, backyard mechanic style... but it meant that I didnt have to touch the transmission, one less thing to worry about.
* Once its fall done, refill with coolant... then make sure you bleed the air out of the system by filling the coolant all the way up, then leaving the cap off turning the engine on and letting it heat up...add coolant as it goes down. Also make sure its all ok by checking it a week later.
