how do I?

hey guys. i am new, but a long time proud owner. just a quick question. how do i get the overhead light panel off, so i can replace the lightbulb?

you should be able to put a flathead screwdriver in the small slot on the side and pry off the lense then pop out the bulb. i can be tricky so take ur time.

just the lense part or the whole plastic covering that includes the switch?

no, I believe the rest of the thing is screwed in, but the lense is what you take out, I couldn't do it without scrathing it because it is so damned tight, and there is no notch. The plastic is flush

Put some electrical tape on the tip of the slotted screwdriver. That should help prevent it from being scratched.
