I'm rockin' Milts old 19's that are 8.5" wide with a +40 offset. I'm dropped 2" and had to roll my fenders and use 5mm spacers. Like bird said it's all about offsets.

The trickiest part for me (using 8 inch wide) was the offset for the rear. The rear strut was about 2mm away from my wheel. I was using a 18x8 Volk GT-N's with +38 offset. It was pretty damn close.
