i ordered some wheels that are 18x8.5 and i was wanting to know if any one has tried this before and if so did they have any clearince problems

its all about offset man. whats the offset? in anycase ull need to prolly put spacers and maby roll the fenders.

I'm rockin' Milts old 19's that are 8.5" wide with a +40 offset. I'm dropped 2" and had to roll my fenders and use 5mm spacers. Like bird said it's all about offsets.

swegyptian was selling H&R spacers on here for like $50 i thought, so they probably arent too expensive...

if you get a fender-rolling device, its expensive ... if you use a hammer, its cheap ... but sloppy

The trickiest part for me (using 8 inch wide) was the offset for the rear. The rear strut was about 2mm away from my wheel. I was using a 18x8 Volk GT-N's with +38 offset. It was pretty damn close.

youre probably going to want 5 or 10mm spacers on the rear anyways just so the wheels dont tuck

otherwise Ufoz will yell at you ^_^
