short shifter

i did do a little research in older threads but cant find much. im lookin for a short shifter for my gen4 4 cyl and cant really find any online is there any other cars that would work in my car thanks in advance

did you check B&M? idk if they make them for our cars, but i know they make a lot of short shifters

unfortunately, it seems that B&M doesnt make one, but TRD definitely does ... as does TWM

Wow dude, i typed in camry short shifter in google and immidatley found one. TWM makes one as well as TRD.

i did a search of the TRD shifter and found like 5 posts, but yeah there are a few companies that make them. im gonna go out on a limb and say that trd is the perfered. i know of more people who use it.

TRD made the entire short shifter assembly....unfortunately those are hard to come by anymore (but I got one), TWM makes a short shifter for it, but minus the assembly

I have a 2001 Camry LE V6 that I just ordered a TWM short shifter for. Initially I was looking just for the TRD "quickshifter" but only found one website that had it, and it was out of stock. So, as far as I'm concerned, TWM is probably the only way to go at this point. Good luck I actually just helped my brother install a short shifter in his 2000 Corolla, and it really wasn't that difficult of a process. Took us about an hour after all was said and done and it really does make it a whole lot more "fun" to shift. Besides, I really don't like the placement of the shifter in this model year. It feels like it is off to the right all the time even in first and second gear. Maybe it's just me...
